The 执行管理委员会音乐um, under the direction of Dr. 戈登Haramaki, is a combined vocal and instrumental ensemble dedicated to exploring the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early Baroque through performance. 的执行管理委员会 音乐um is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the larger 菠菜网lol正规平台社区，不需要试镜. 参与者可以使用这些仪器 in the Vernon Reed Collection, including sackbuts, shawms, recorders, viols, cornetti, 和羽管键琴.

The 铜套 rehearses on Fridays from 10:30 AM to 12:20 PM in MUS 150.

吉他合奏

由 林教授, the 吉他合奏 is comprised of guitarists in the 音乐舞蹈学院 as well as other students who wish to expand their performance skills. 一个重要的组成部分 of the guitar program at 圣何塞州立大学, the 吉他合奏 offers guitarists exposure to a wide range of repertoire, the benefit of collaborating in a large ensemble, and regular performance opportunities in venues on and off campus. 选择成员 of the 吉他合奏 are chosen each 学期 to perform in the community, acting as representatives of the Guitar program and the University.

The 吉他合奏 rehearses on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:20 PM.

The 萨克斯管乐团 has a tradition at 菠菜网lol正规平台 that goes back to the early 1970's of performing music of all eras and musical styles. 由 Dr. 迈克尔·埃尔南德斯, the University 萨克斯管乐团 features the finest saxoph一个 players in the School 音乐与舞蹈. 音乐ianship, ensemble skills phrasing, style, tonal control, pitch discrimination and technical development are stressed in a two hour weekly rehearsal. 学生 are also given the opportunity to develop their playing skills on all the members of the saxoph一个 family, from sopranino to bass.

In addition, students participate in saxoph一个 quartets, quintets or trios to develop chamber music performance, leadership and listening skills. 这些小组会起作用 on their own during and outside of the class with occasional coaching by the director. 学生 are selected for this ensemble by audition only.

The 萨克斯管乐团 rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in MUS 150.

The 菠菜网lol正规平台 Clarinet ensemble, under the direction of Dr. 珍妮特Averett, has performed numerous concerts since its establishment in 1986. 这个集合提供了 chamber music opportunities for players in a large clarinet choir as well as in smaller 二重奏，三重奏和单簧管四重奏. The repertory consists of arrangements of all styles and genres, going as far back as Bach and as current as the mid-late 20^th 世纪. The group also performs high quality original compositions.

This ensemble is open to any一个 by audition, is required for clarinet majors, and meets Fridays from 10:30 AM-12:20 PM in Room 186. 会议时间也可以包括 guest artists, clarinet master classes on solo repertory and performance, as well 讨论教学主题. Performances consist of at least 一个 full concert a 学期, plus a performance of 一个 short work in the 菠菜网lol正规平台 Kaleidoscope concert 每年10月.

All instrumental students may participate in Chamber 音乐 and receive weekly coachings. 学生 perform in trios (with or without piano), string quartets, and other combinations 室内乐曲目. 学生 offer concerts each 学期, and are often invited to perform in additional studio concerts.
